手自一體變速箱的檔位有P,R,N,D和M/S。P,R,N和D檔和純自動(dòng)檔的沒有什么區(qū)別,不同點(diǎn)是M/S檔,這個(gè)檔是手動(dòng)模式檔(有的也叫運(yùn)動(dòng)模式)。這里主要提一提S擋。掛進(jìn)S擋后電腦的換擋邏輯會產(chǎn)生變化，相對來說升擋會比較遲，但動(dòng)力更強(qiáng)。

使用S擋時(shí)，把檔桿向+的方向推動(dòng)是進(jìn)檔,向-的方向是退檔，不需要踩剎車，有些車的手動(dòng)模式會設(shè)置5000轉(zhuǎn)強(qiáng)制進(jìn)檔。雖然S擋動(dòng)力更強(qiáng)，但并不建議車主長時(shí)間使用該檔位。因?yàn)樵摍n位雖然能夠瞬間提高轉(zhuǎn)速加大動(dòng)力，但長期使用卻會讓自動(dòng)變速箱承受更多的負(fù)荷，導(dǎo)致變速箱過早磨損。
